On January 11, 2017, TJM Promos hosted a OneBlood blood drive at our headquarters in northwest Ocala. Held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., we had a great turnout for the drive, with 14 people signing up to donate, along with several walk-ins.
Among those who donated were a number of TJM employees, who had this to say about their experience giving blood:
Aaron Salinas: “Knowing that there is a need for the one thing we all have in common, is reason enough for me to donate. The folks at OneBlood know what they are doing and make the experience as smooth as possible.”
Justin Macdonald: "Shanae and the ladies of OneBlood made donating a quick, fun, and enjoyable experience."
Mark Anderson: "I've given blood before, but I've never had as good a time as I did this time around. I think it's important to donate when possible, and it's even better when the experience is enjoyable. Thanks, OneBlood!"
Matt Fischer: “It was my first experience giving blood and I will definitely be back to donate more. Â The ladies from Oneblood did an amazing job and had us all laughing on the bus. Â It was a great time for a good cause!”
Rick Cundiff: "It was easy. It feels good to know you might be saving someone’s life by such a simple act."
We had a great time donating and helping the community, and we look forward to hosting another drive again soon.
