PLANES Premiere & Block Party Here In Ocala, Florida!

We at TJM Promotions love being a part of the community in our hometown of Ocala, Florida. On August 9^th, the Marion Theatre and Feel Downtown Ocala held a block party for the release of the movie "Planes." TJM donated a batch of wristbands for the event featuring the Feel Downtown logo and the phrase "I ♥ Ocala."

Feel Downtown Ocala showcases local businesses and events, promotes events in and around downtown Ocala, and encourages local growth. Feel Downtown helps provide new things to do, while also keeping up with local traditions such as the annual Light Up Ocala celebration in the Christmas season.

The Marion Theatre has been a local landmark since it opened in 1941. It's been everything from a concert venue to a play hall to a movie theater. After closing for a brief period, the Marion Theatre is back to showing movies regularly. The theater often holds events for movie releases with the help of local businesses and the community.

For the release of the Disney movie "Planes", Feel Downtown Ocala and the Marion Theatre hosted a block party, complete with face-painting, live music, and model planes from the Ocala Flying Model Club. Anyone who purchased a ticket to the movie received one of our wristbands, free.
