Employee Spotlight: Cody Clifton

What is your role at TJM and how long have you worked here?

I help manage the marketing department. We build and maintain a number of e-commerce websites all selling our promotional products. That's a lot of marketing and maintenance year-round but the challenges make it fun. September 19^th will be one year here at TJM.

What do you do as part of the marketing department at TJM?

I work closely with the lead developer in strategizing website and marketing initiatives for our many e-commerce websites. I also focus on SEO strategies and implementations of content for digital marketing. Lastly, I provide comedic relief for the marketing department whenever I feel it necessary.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of work?

I am one of the founders of Brick City Moto. We are a custom motorcycle shop here in Ocala, FL specializing in custom motorcycle builds, parts and fabrication. We also like to have a good time so we're always putting on events. With that said, you could probably guess that motorcycles are a passion of mine. I currently own a 2013 Harley Sportster Forty-Eight. Nothing better than to pack my gear on my bike and go camping on bike runs. (Ed. Any big, exciting things planned for the future?

The BCM dudes and I are planning to participate in the Orlando ride for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on Sunday, September 24^th. This ride is legit and the guys over at DGR have partnered up with the Movember Foundation, the world's largest men's health organization. All the funds raised from this global-wide ride will go to research into prostate cancer and mental health programs as part of their mission to support men's health globally. Anything else you'd like to tell the world about?

Wait, you're still here? I guess one interesting thing is I am an avid collector of tattoos. Right now, I'm working on my huge back piece of St. Patrick fighting off snakes on the cliffs of Ireland. I'll let that sink if for a moment. Other than that, I do freelance web design and marketing. Annnnd that's about it for me.
